The epic collapse last week of the Justice Department’s “Africa sting” case waswidely depicted as an example of a flawed FBI investigation and prosecutorial overreach. Whether or not that description is accurate, it leaves out one of the most important elements that led to DOJ abandoning the case: the defense lawyers. Read more
